I had written on the Nazis' efforts in using propaganda during World War 2. I had chosen this because their propaganda is known as one of the greatest efforts in the world and set the turn for propaganda today. It had described how dedicated they were to spread their message throughout the country that they would in list filmmakers into their military. Media was very important to Adolf Hitler and Grapples in having more people join in the Nazi military and support the message that they were trying to spread altogether. People were persuaded alone were produced. Jews being a focal point of the messages were seen as criminals and disease so in logic it would be a duty to rid the world of this disease and also spread the message of the better German people. I had chosen to write about this because when I had lived in England I had gone to the Imperial War Museum. Inside is the Holocaust museum. It was a horror to see how media and movies were used to so calmly support the extermination of a group of people. I had witnessed what German people were being force-fed at this time in a manner that was almost brainwashing. I had seen a video of a man dressed as a doctor telling a young lady who was a skeptic of hatred against Jewish people that just like nature the cat eats the mouse their no denying that it is natural for Germans to do the same to Jewish people. The United States propaganda was just as impressive. Instead of creating whole new movies and commercials for the time of war they showed the propaganda of the German, Italian and Japanese nations to show them what was happening or at least show them whatever would compel them to fight. There was even a video in the documentary that I had seen that had asked people what they thought about war and it was of people with mixed reactions. Some people agreed with going to war and some of the people in the video had strongly disagreed with going into war. I thought that video was extremely smart because it gave people some kind of sense of free will so they maybe could feel like it was more of their choice to go into war. I think that these videos were a form of nudging. Creating fear or a will in people to fight and contribute to the war afford.
