Bebo, I had used it as a child. It was the first platform that I had used and the most frequently. It was way before everyone was using Facebook. At that time it was not long after it was released to the public from just being a network for college students. It was older than memes. It was like MySpace for kids. You could change the backgrounds, play with interactive games and of course talk to friends. People don't use it anymore. Here and there through the years, I would log in to it just like it was an old dairy. As I had gotten older it was a refreshing look at it. It was like a portal into the head of the 12 years me. It should be my thoughts, the kind of music I liked at the time it even messages from girls that I was interested in, and how I tried my best to flirt with them. Everyone I knew had one family, friends, and strangers. We were all connected virtually and for a lot of us, it was the first time. The logo was in bright red colors. You log on and your page skin was a variety of funky colors and designs. When you went on your page or for that much anyone else's page the last song on our playlist automatically. It was like a theme song that complimented your style and was entertaining while you browse through the apps we had on our pages. Now my pages are gone, trashed as the site relaunched, I tried to see what they what the new version of the platform was like but it was a couple of years and it still was under remodeling as a video of a man, maybe the CEO would tell you if you go on the site. It's been a while since I've checked again but it was a fun experience and a great introduction to social media and technology outside of school.
