I would like to be a part of an organization that I feel like I am an initial part of. One that values my input and ideas. Taking part in how I feel like operations and marketing should be coordinated. This is a chance for me to be a leader in a role to assist in the guidance of a business. I can be an owner of and trust in my career. I am very much interested in project management and instilling sustainable methods into business, organizations, and institutions to better develop their practices. Using skills from project management trainging helps these organizations so much and it is accessible to anyone.

I enjoy using varied methods to organize my work and task. I am very much skilled in multi-tasking and paying attention to detail. Taking on multiple projects at once is not an issue for me. I would use calendars to log each task and part of each project that is completed and not completed. I keep digital copies of needed documents with backed-up copies stored in my google docs. With digital files, I keep hard copies in folders that pertain to each company and or order. I would create a system that helps to keep track of sales materials and inventory spreadsheets. These can be done with Excel or data entry databases. Communication is also a key skill to poses. The information that I keep would be submitted to my superior. I would speak with the Sales Manager or Director on my progress and see if they have any import on handling projects and request. I would check in ahead of time with Sales Reps about their request so they are prepared for and reminded of receiving items. It is also to share files and have equal excess to them with other people that need excess to them for reference, or make need changes through google docs.

Working with a small business is like working with any business. It is about building rapport, keeping a connection on mutual terms and looking out for their best interest. I need to explain in detail and make it known to them where their product is going, how to get it there and every detail of the process that it moves through. We need to discuss their projected "Endgame" of what goals they want to reach and how we can reach them. This role would be a bridge, liaison between the small farmer and sales rep in maintaining the follow, distribution, and sale of products. They should be able to stay connected with me and also be able to have excess to my work that relates to their business. This would also include using my skills to assist them in sustainable practices just like I would in my normal duties in the larger organization's framework. Utilizing skills in project management and teaching them to the small farmer so they can utilize these skills in their projects as well as most importantly understand my methods and be apart of the project coordination of their sales. Providing resources and materials related to the process of sales and their product in business would help them understand what is happening with their product. Them being a part of the process and having input on how they feel their product should be sold is important.
