There are two things that we need in life. The first is passion. Passion is what we want from life. It allows us to feel for something and have a sense of identity. The second thing that we need in life is bravery. Bravery is how we get what we want from life. It’s taking action toward what we believe in. My passion is equity for underrepresented people including African-Americans and other cultures. As an African-American, I would like to change issues that affect mine and other communities such as poor educational systems, systematic racism, and poverty. Having a love for world cultures, studying Anthropology as well as living abroad studying in London, England and working on community development in Malawi, Africa I want to engage in the advantage of people from all walks of life. Overall my heart is deeply rooted in a fight for access to much-needed resources for all social change missions. I am excellent in forging bonds and interpersonal communication. My appetite for strategic planning is strengthened by knowing that I am helping others achieve their goals. Building on abilities and taking on many hats is comfortable for me. All I want to do is to work to inspire these two things in as many people.
