I have a degree in Communication Studies and Anthropology. I have lived in London, England while in Uni and had created a blog for Cultural Journalism on the cultural sites and historical institutions of the city. I had lived and worked in Malawi for one year as a Peace Corps Volunteer. In Malawi, I was an English teacher, project manager for a community-led group that focused on community health and I was a Communications Assistant to the Peace Corps Malawi Communications Coordinator. My interests include working with people from different cultures and helping others learn. I love to learn different languages, work on sustainable projects for other peoples' benefit and broaden the view of the world around us through my writing and engagements with others. In my, future I would like to work on the protection of cultures and languages and cross-cultural consultancy. I want to learn new skills and utilize them to assist others. Using my training, education, and experience in Communication and culture is my dream to continue and has become my life's work. I would love to work with an organization that is immersed in opening up a world of communication and culture. It would be great to support an institution that supports a place for refugees. I love working with people from other cultures but most importantly I have experience in and enjoy my work with organizations that are supportive of underserved. people. I would be more than willing to learn languages, develop skills and pursue training to embark on a mission to combine refugee talent with the need for language and cultural understanding in the global market and world in general. I want to create more solutions to global problems. Developing more effective ways for people to thrive and flourish in the world is all that I want to be a part of.
