Working with and living among other cultures is all I have ever wanted to do in life. Studying culture is my life's work. The best way that I have learned to do this is to live among the people of multiple cultures. In university, I had minored in Anthropology. A large amount of my study in Anthropology was on Arab and African cultures. To look at how the world works holistically from food, music, language, and much more reveals our connected story.

Working abroad establishes insight into how I understand others and myself. There is always something for me to learn from other peoples' backgrounds. I improve how I communicate and connect with others internationally through well-established rapport.

Morocco is an extraordinary mix of cultural diversity. Being here would immerse me in a cultural hub. I would like to understand the Berber and Arab peoples' way of life. Learning more about and observing Islam as well as Judaism would allow me to understand different religious believes. Living in an area that is blended from Arab, Sub-Saharan African, European, and many other cultures is an opportunity to understand cultural diversity more in-depth.

There are some other aspects of Moroccan culture that I want to explore. Language is a valuable part of who we are. I want learn French and Arab, among other languages through immersion. Improving in French and Arab would help me connect with the local people and people from other countries that come to Morocco. Personally, my favorite foods are spicy ones. I know that one of the things Morocco is known for is its fusion of flavors that combine heat and sweet. I would love to experience the usual diets of the nation. Living here would allow me to see diverse landscapes and how the people live in these multifaceted climates. These places being near the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Sahara Desert, mountainous areas, and cities.

I want to know that I spent my life doing something with meaning. That I helped everyone I could, in any way possible. Seeing every corner of the earth and giving more than I take. It doesn't have to be anything remarkable or that people remember. It doesn't have to be fun or easy. It’s only about the story we tell. It doesn't matter the beginning, middle, or end. The only thing that matters is that we keep telling our stories. There is one story that each of us have that connects to everyone else's. I want to see as many connections to mine and others’ stories as much as possible.
